Anticipation

I'm a professor trade. I speak publically most every day. Standing in front of countless individuals, and it doesn't phase me at all.

But the anticipation, standing in front of just that one person. The morning before we meet for our date. Arriving a little early and waiting. Fills me with that energy and nervousness every time.

Once we meet, once we touch, all that goes away. It's the buildup that does me in. Anyone else feel that way?
